My next bass build is going to be a slab body SCPB. I love my Dillion but I really want one with the contours. |

Until you shield it, plan on keeping your hands on the strings. |

It's on my "no way I can afford but lust after anyway" list. I'm planning on modeling my SCPB build after it. I might even add the relicing. |

| i've experienced some noise problems with mine out of the box. solved messing around with pickup height, the noise gone with just lowering the "E" and "A" pickup, slighty angled on the "E." hope it works for you too.
(sorry the english).

Did you ever track down the noise problem and/or did shielding help? Mine has 'developed' noise that I hadn't noticed before, opened it up and can't see anything loose or abnormal going on...???

It's on my To Do list. For now, I just try to keep my fingers on the strings to silence the noise.
If find any bad ground wiring please share so I know what to keep an eye out for.

The only thing I don't care for on these bursts is that I wish they had a vintage tint on the neck/board. I'm considering getting that done to this one since I have no plans to make the same mistake twice (selling it)!

Welcome back to the fold! | Same here. Got my blonde last January. Would've gotten burst if I'd have known about it. |
