Fender Active Jazz Deluxe V bass Mexico for 686$ worth it?

Hello, I have just become an offer for a Mexican Fender JB Deluxe for 686$ bucks, it is as good as new. So I didnt play a mexican Jazz my final question is will I regret it? here are the specification and a picture of it

- C shaped maple neck
- Rosewood fingerboard
- 2 two dual-coil five-string Jazz Bass magnet
- Three-band active EQ
- Master Volume control

- Finish Brown sinburst
- 20 frets

a friend of mine has this bass but it's a 4-string, and it was pretty sweet when I checked it out. the tonal ability was great what with the active electronics and when I plugged it in to play, it had a BIG sound. Definitely punchy and bright by my standards. If you're not looking for bright, no worries. Worn strings or, rather, a simple eq adjustment will fix that.
