Fender Aerodyne Catch!

Sign in to disble this ad
Let me first say that I am not a 'Fender guy', as a rule, but there is something about this unique Aerodyne that just caught my eye. I was able to pull the trigger and it is due here on Wednesday. A lot of great reviews on this and it is also hard to come by from what I understand. You can get the version that GC, 123, and MF are selling but it is quite a bit different than this one. I understand these are made in Japan and have to be shipped from there unless you find one that someone already has here like this one. Nice buy and hope it pans out like I think it will.

Beautiful! I love my standard Aerodyne, but I admit that I'm a little jealous of that pickguard.

I myself am not a Fender guy either, but I've always had a soft spot for Aerodyne's. And that, my friend, is one good looking Aerodyne! Congrats!

Yeah, thus far things are going alright, I called last night and they were doing alright. Mom's gonna have to go back into surgery for another stint in her leg because of poor circulation, but that was somewhat expected. Other than that, another week closer to going home for this guy, haha! How's life?

That is one slick looking bass! Congrats, man! I wish that I could get a Jazz with the Aerodyne body profile but with two Jazz pickups and a rosewood/binding/pearl blocks neck.

No, these can only be imported from Japan. Fortunately I bought this from someone here on TB. Unfortunately I had to sell it as I opted for Rickenbacker 4004Cii.

If someday I come near to one of these, I'll sure find a way to buy it!

I like the way my Yammy looks like the Aerodynes!

I love the look of these basses! And that there is a sweet looking bass OP!

I was actually going to buy one of these a little while back as I really wanted a P/J bass, but when I got to the store I tried out a Reggie Hamilton signature first and fell in love. By the time I tried the Aerodyne it was too late!

Congrats on the sexy axe!

I had one of those Aerodyne that you had, a non-export model. They look sweet but they do not fit my style of playing. I wanted to switch the original bridge for a hipshot but it did't go well, partly because of the hole for the bridge and partly because the body is a little bit arched.

Otherwise it's a fantastic bass. Good luck!

That's a beautiful Aerodyne! Much nicer IMO than what we have here in the states. I would buy one like that. Wonder if we could do a group buy thing and get them imported? Stupid question: It's a Fender...is it made in the USA or in Japan?
