Fender Bass

I am thinking about buying a Fender American Standard 5 string bass and I would appreciate feedback from someone who plays one. The bass is new and the price is right!

I bought my 2008 American Standard back in May '08 and it's my #1 bass. Fits into any mix that I've come across and is punchy, articulate, deep and has an excellent low B. It's a winner of a bass guitar, you can't go wrong.

I have never liked a B string on any fender i tried!
Always found them a bit sloppy and dull sounding... I wouldnt buy a fendes 5.
