Fender bass content(Fender)

So Anyways I've always liked the bass guitar and have played many brands over the years but never tried a Fender. So anyways I have friend who got himself a genuine Fender bass guitar and it sounded real good like. So anyways he lets my try it and WOW I was like "So this is what they mean when they say "musical instrument"! So anyways I just had to get meself one to. So anyways I thought it would take me a long time to find a Fender bass guitar but it didn't. Craig had one on his list!

The asking price was reasonable so I contacted the guy and he said the bass is actually worth 4X

the asking price so I said ok I'll pay 4X the asking price and he took it!

Sucker!

So anyways I wired him the money and I'm going to go pick it up tomorrow. He said to meet him at the bus station. Kinda weird but whatever. Anyways I'll post better pics When I get it but you can see it in the link! FENDER!

I saw this bass like an hour ago in a post and many said it was a scam. They said they all had seen the same post in their own cities, meaning the guy was trying to get rid of it in different places. I wilkl try to find that other post real fast.

Just check it out and see what others have to say. We don't want you to get scamed with a reissue or something.

Oh know! I just sent him a message on the web with concerns about my money and the bass not being real but have not herd back form him yet. I hope he didn't flake on me .

I feal better. Teh guy sent me back the emaile and he promised me he wuz 4 real so I said "good cuz I needs me some FENDER!

He said "Come alone when you come to get the guitar." In a deep monotone voice. Kinda kreepy but whatrvrt. I'm gettin' me a Fender!

So anyways I went to the bus station and teh dood gives me the guitar and I said thanks. The case looked differnt than the pics but I didn't mind cuz it's a FENDER!

So anyways I bring it home and open the case and the bass looks kindy different from the one I paid for but I don't mind cuz it's a FENDER!

So anyways I plug it up to my big bass amplifier and turn it up and WHAMO!!! that FENDER

sound instantly start pumping forth from the speaker cabinet like about 8 horses trotting down main street during a hail storm in the St. Patty's Day parade. Then I started playing some note and it was already in toon!

FENDER!

So anyways it was worth the price and I am now a Fender guy and here are a pic of it. FENDER!

I try not to be judgmental but with threads like these: I will never do business with you on TB classifieds. I am not sure if this is a joke...but I know this '56 is a scam nationwide.

I don't get the joke at all. :/ I get it that the CL ad is a scam. But what's w/all the hoopla and "It's a FENDER!!!!" stuff?

See every other thread and you will see that this thread is a satire of all those "I'm a FENDER convert now and I'm never going back!! FENDER!" threads. I've been looking for an opportunity to do this for some time and when people were starting quite a few threads about this outrageously over priced passive, 20 fret, bolt on neck, front routed bass and saying it was too good of a deal to be true I could resist no longer. FENDER!!
