Fender Bass Mystery

Okay I got to thinking back to my first bass recently. This was a long time ago so I am a little fuzzy on all the details, but I would love if you guys could help me narrow this down.
First off I will list what I am positive about.
  • It was a Fender.
  • It was white.
  • It had a rosewood fretboard.
  • It had the phillips head truss rod at the end of the neck by the body.
Stuff I am murky on,
  • I am pretty darn sure it had the precision style pickguard.
  • It only had one pickup.
  • I dont recall it being a split pickup as is usual on P's, I do recall that when I took it apart it had that kind of vaguely trapezoidal shape under the PU cover, like some strat pickups look.
Stuff that it wasnt,
  • It did not have a metal control plate like a mustang or jazz.
  • It did not have anything wood going on with the bridge like the mustang.

Did precisions ever come with a non-split pickup?

Musicmaster; it's the only one that fits your description. Well, maybe a Bronco, which is a renamed Musicmaster. The Mustang had no wooden bridge parts, BTW.

Which one has the wooden bridge parts? I saw a few with that "feature" when I was trying to research what my first bass was. I think musicmaster may be right. I had a Fender silverface combo that came with the amp when I bought it at a garage sale. That was the first amp I ever blew up! I do dimly recall the bass matched the amp. Mayeb they were both Musicmaster? hmmm
