Fender Basses 2012 - anything new besides Select Series?

hey all,

I have my eye on a 2011 Fender Am. Deluxe Jazz Bass
but I was wondering if Fender has plans of upgrading the 2011 series this year.

Just want to make shure I won't regret buying a 2011 model and soon after regret my decision because of fender coming out with their 2012 am. deluxe series.

any clues?

Fender usually waits a few years before upgrading their models... so I think you will be safe with a 2011

Even though NAMM is still a couple of weeks away it is usual for dealers to start "leaking" the new line ups for the big companies early. Sometimes you see things popping up on various sites and blogs as early as December. Most brands will out in the open within the next 10 days.
