Fender Blacktop Precision vs. G&L Tribute L-2000

How does the Fender Blacktop P-bass (the one with dual humbuckers) fair compared to a G&L Tribute L-2000? I know the G&L Tribute has active/passive modes which is a bonus, but since I play passively exclusively, is the Blacktop a good option in terms of sound?
