Fender CS '55 Precision neck

I'm looking for a sunburst Fender CS '55 Precision because I like the look of it, but I've never played one. My preference when it comes to necks is the fatter the better. I've got a '68 Telecaster Bass with the fattest baseball-bat neck ever, 1 3/4" wide and close to an inch thick. Are the CS '55 necks anywhere close to that?

Yes they're pretty fat.
Mine has a very deep profile on the back with a pronounced V shape. This is probably the fattest neck I've ever owned.

yep the '55 CS neck pretty big. another one that is huge is the maple V neck from allparts. it's 1 5/8" at the nut but it's really big and fat. their maple tele bass neck is also a pretty big one.

I've seen it and I love it! Wonderful bass. Unfortunately it's on the wrong side of the globe for me, the total cost before I can play it would be quite high. Atlanta is far from Uppsala I'm afraid...

I cannot imagine it would be cheaper or anywhere near the same cost to buy in Sweden. How much do they sell for there?

You rarely see them for sale in Sweden, but they frequently pop up in German or British ads. They asking price is usually higher, but since we are all members of the European union, no extra fees or taxes are added and shipping is much cheaper too.
