Too bad Fender doesn't use quartersawn maple for all their necks.

So how do the Fender CS basses stack up to the boutique copy builders? I'm looking for a precision so I'm curious if I should be looking at Fender?

Still enjoying my time machine '64 jazz. Been considering one of the active Custom Classic Jazz basses for something different - the necks are killer...

07 Custom Classic Jazz

The CS basses stack up very well against the boutique builders, IMO.

How long did it take to get from NOS to CC? I have a 64 NOS Sunburst Jazz that is just a little to shiny and new for me!

Nice bass, BTW!
