Fender Custom Shop P Bass - Candy Tangerine

Sign in to disble this ad
I remember receiving a catalog from wither GC, MF or M123 that showed a Fender Custom Shop P bass in candy tangerine sporting a maple neck / fret board with black block inlay. It may have had black binding too.

Does anyone have a pictures of this bass or knew who sold it?

Ain't seen a P-Bass in that color, for sure. But,I do know one thing. That coclor is DEFINITELY my favorite color from the Big "F" right now. I'd love to have a Jazz 5 with that color, with nitro paint.

I do not- however, I do own a bass in Candy Tangerine, so here's that, a 2002 American Deluxe Precision, my favorite player.

It was in the NYC Guitar Center I recall and on-line you could see it in the GC Platinum website. I recall it was a cool $6k too!
Ant.

Yes - that's the one! I couldn't remember the price - but knew it was over $4k. You don't recall it having anything fancy in the spec department, do you?

I can't remember the specs but it was a sparkle finish, slightly checked. Looks like a tangerine version of the Adam Clayton bass. Cheers Ant.
