I have never seen one of these before , I like it except the chrome rings around the pickups.

Anyone seen/played one?

Interesting concept. The rings kind of make it look like a Yamaha.

I have a 1995 Fender "Daddy's Home" brochure that shows a very similar bass called a Vintage Precision Custom bass.

It has a maple fretboard, swamp ash body, black pick-guard (same shape), the same headstock and body shape, pickups, knobs, and bridge. Natural finish.

It does not have the chrome plates around the pickups.

Cost isn't as bad as some resalers on Ebay that sell parted out Fenders.

I'm at the point now where I just can't find what I want in a production instrument, so whatever I'd get would be something I'd keep. Resale value isn't as important as comfort and getting something I really want.
