Fender Deluxe Active Pbass, anyone?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey I currently have a Squier CV P-Bass (Fiesta Red) and am looking for a new bass for Christmas. I have my eye on the Fender Deluxe Active P and was wondering if anyone has had one and what they think of it.

I see it has two pickups, will I still be able to get the nice round PBass sound?

heres the one i'm looking at,

I have one. With the active EQ you can dial in a lot of different tones - there is a blend pot so you can just choose the P pickup if that's the tone you're going after.

Demo'd one yesterday...too many gizmos for me. I found that the P bass setting would be the one I'd use 99 % of the time. YMMV
