This is the ash version of the Standard MIM Jazz, as you can see below.
Here are my straight-out-of-the box photos so that y'all can look at the grain etc, which I quite like!
It will need a set-up, I'm putting TI flats on it, and I'm thinking of going with a Badass bridge... but even now it sounds lovely - a very classic Jazz tone with lots of richness and character.

Obviously, I couldn't resist...and have been pleased to find that they sound as good as they look, as everyone has been saying. After playing this with TI flats for a few days, I just sold my Pedulla, because this bass covers so much sonic territory. (Not as much as the Pedulla by itself, but this bass combined with others I have made the MVP a luxury I couldn't afford.)
At the low price these are out there for, I'd say go for it! Quote:
