My last remaining Jag. I had 3 last year at this time. This one isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Mine is on order from MF and should be here next week. I like the look of that Ampeg B200R; does it work as well with the jag as it looks? Thinking of getting one of them too.

I think it works great with the Jag. As long as you understand it's a very warm, vintage tone. The EQ works really well also, to help shape your tone.

You sold your sunburst Jag!?!?! I wish I knew it was on the block.

The white is very nice - wish they offered them here, or in Japan these days.

Well........I have an American Jazz, butterscotch in color, with the S1 switch.
The American jazz has the Jag beat in everything except looks. IMHO.
However, the Jag looks cooler than anything else in my collection, and it plays and sounds great!
The Jag also cost more than twice what the Jazz cost. (The Jazz was a pawn shop prize. $275 with OHSC)

YMMV

ok, I've never got to try one of the Jags, are they great sounding? I heard some good things about them. Are the necks slim kind of like the jazz's? Btw, to all...nice basses!

Just a quick reminder that you should PM me for a number. I can't keep track unless you do Also; no reservations - you get your number when you PM me. And you better have the bass in your possession. As they say; no pic, no bass

Will post a pic of my new-to-me Jag soon.

Also, this is seriously the first bass I've ever found my "ideal tone" right out of the box.
