According to my bathroom scale, which my wife constantly accuses of lying to her, it is 9.9 pounds.

I used to have a MIA 2009 Jazz, but I sold it to finance my P bass. I noticed that I missed a good jazz, though, and when I came across this 1973, I just couldn't resist buying! Original except for the pups, not too heavy, wonderful neck. (but really it was the color + maple with black blocks that did it for me...)

Okay guys, I've got myself a beautiful FSR Jazz bass.

(Not mine, but it looks exactly the same except I have DiMarzios in it. And the grain is different obviously.
Oh and a Fender vintage bridge.)

Should I get chrome covers or not?
I'm leaning towards yes.

The U.S model was introduced in late 2004... How is that a '93? And no, the Aerodynes did not come stock with the BadAss.

It's a MIM neck. Keep an eye out in the accessories classified section for one. I found mine on Talkbass and they come up often in the classifieds.
