1.875" (47.6 mm)

Its not wider than my Traben. | Fingerboard radius is not width. It's the curve of the fingerboard: low on the bass side, higher in the middle, back to low on the G side. The larger the radius number in inches, the flatter the curve of the fingerboard. Vintage jazz necks are 7.25 inch and have more curve in the fingerboard than your new bass. I hope you are clear on this now.

It still has Suhr pickups and those were used by Fender till '01 or '02 maybe... I own a '00 and I love it!

I understood that they were playing around with the Anerican Deluxe models around 2005 by offering the pj pickup option. The neck is slim and has a radius like other jazz necks. I have owned several over the last 30 years.

After doing what I should've done when I first got the bass, instead of listening to others tell me it seems my jazz is actually an '03-'04 make. This came straight from Fender. Sgtpepper, as for the p-ups, could be aftermarket...I dunno. :banghead:
