Bit of a fan of Mr McKagan's work in case you hadn't guessed. | Where did you get that decal?

Jesus!! That thing is nice! I love that color. I own 2 in Silver Metallic. One has been gigged to hell & back (think Sheehan's wife bass), the other is mint. I've modded both of 'em with Badass Bridges, DiMarzio pups, and Hipshot D-Tuners. And, both of 'em are absolutely phenomenal players. |

| | | | Happy to find this thread! I have a Fender Jazz Special that I love. It was my second bass. I started out with an Aria Pro II that I picked up for $75 when I was in ninth grade, and then upgraded to the Fender a year or so later. Love that thing. Haven't played in a few years but am now getting the urge again.
Mine seems to have after-market pickups. They are EMGs, and they are active. I also had it painted a few years ago in a nice Mustang Red colour, added a pickguard, and got some chrome knobs. I had ordered some chrome tuning pegs off of e-bay years ago but they never showed up. |

I just happen to cruise Guitar center's used section, and this JBS was listed this weekend!
That's not a huge chunk missing; that's glare.
I got it for a great price and I have a 30 day return policy.
Plus, I got the black neck version, which is what I have been searching for. Rock & Roll!

I've been going back to my pink JBS more and more. They really are sweet little basses. |

One was white, and the other was CAR. I bought the white one. I checked this morning to see if the CAR was still there... GONE! You have to act quickly with these basses, when priced right.
I need to get that pink skull sticker, or the old school "Be Mine" type.

| | | | Here's a grainy shot of mine... So I got this used around 1996 or 1997. It had the EMG active pickups in it then. When I was in high school I re-painted it silver at one point, and gold. After a while I decided to get a pro paint job done and now it's a red colour I love. I added the pickguard and the chrome knobs. |
