Now That sounds Cool. Tort and blocks on a JP90. They should bring out a version of that.

Geroiu , there is a JP90 on ebay right now going for 89.00 at the moment with a neck problem, looks like everything else is good though. just add your blocks neck and a tort guard. It is red. Just thought i would tell you.

It's cool that this thread came up. I was just thinking the other day how the JP90 could possibly be the ultimate fretless bass, for a number of reasons. My first good bass was a black JP90. I loved the pickups and toggle setup.

I was just thinking about getting another JP90 and making it fretless. I think that would be a great bass. Lets keep these basses secret as the prices might start going up.

And then the back. I love the detail of the stars and both of the flags.

Thanks MrBuggaboo,
I love what my son in law did with this bass. When it was concieved the flags were to be reversed ,since then I have retired from gigging and we decieded to do it this way.I told him to just have fun with it.It will still have the same electronics but new neck plate , bridge, screws, and foam.Just wanted to bring her back to her glory.I will never let this one go.

Wolfman, your son on law is truly an artist. I, as many on this forum, have many basses. Some come and some go. But the JP90 is like the runt puppy that you just have a soft spot for. Mine is red/ black. Would kind of like to collect all three combos. Enjoy your one of a kind baby. Peace!

I just picked up another one. This one is near mint white w/ bk. I guess my collection is under way. Weeeee! Just love these things. Some call me crazy but I like to be different than the rest. A good bass is a good bass, right!

Congrats on the find. There are very few of us that know about these basses and we want to keep it this way. I will probably get another one in the future to make a frettless. Cant beat this bass. Show us some pics when you can.
