Nice, though I'm not sure what's '66 about it (other than the blocks and binding). Read somewhere that the '66 Jazzes had medium/jumbo frets and non-reverse tuners.

While the CIJs are nice looking and sounding axes, I must confess that in my experience I found the hardware to be somewhat inferior. The tuning machines were problematic on both CIJs that I owned (62' RI jazz and 57' RI P)

However, you could take a grinder to the "hump" on the tuners and then you'd be closer to the lollipops of '66.
'66, my favourite year for Fender.
