I have this amazing bass I purchased as a new product in 1989. Bass guitar is 100% playable with some cosmetic issues that made up during 30 years of using. However, except a small varnish crack on the upper body-side, it is all about scratches. All the parts in the intrument are original. Bass is enriched of active bass-preamp "Bass-pump Michalik" that can be easily removed, but the sound is much more pleasant with it. - And I wonder what price tag should i put on it if I would like to sell it one day? This original model is not available anymore. Does it have a special collectors price now? Or should I treat it as an used averadge instrument?? Thanks a lot for your opinion.

i had one of those. It's a good bass, but it's not a collector bass. Very light and comfortable. The thinest 5 strings neck i've seen.
Though it's made in Japan, It's a kinda cheap bass. Stock pickups are useless.

I had an MB-4 a few months back and I sold it to a friend for $150. Pickups were rusted and didnt sound good at all. You can see how much they go for used in the used section of Guitar Center's website.
