My former MIM

I miss it dearly and hope to acquire another soon. For a MIM, it was by far one of the best basses I played. I even thought the low B wasn't all that floppy. And the sound....I loved it. it had great pickups and a fairly versatile active pre.

With black pickguard...

When it was brand new...

I kept the white pickguard on, by the way.

Left: Fender Standard Jazz lefty. Now with Warmoth fretless neck. I do have another standard jazz body that I think I'm going to assemble with the fretless neck (and replace original neck on the black jazz).
