Fender Model ????
I think it was the mid 90,s i had a Fender Jazz i think it was called a "Jazz Light" it was a little lighter and had a little bit smaller of a body it was a dark sunburst with rosewood neck does this discription ring a bell with anyone ?I,ve tried googling jazz light and whatnot with no luck.My new Sterling Classic reminds me so much of this older Fender Bass same feel and growl. It makes me wonder if Leo Fender influenced the Sterling Bass? hmmmm just a thought.........Terry

I don't there was ever a Jazz Lyte.
There was two different models of a PBass Lyte, a standard and deluxe, both MIJ and made in the late 80's through early 90's. the burst models were the standard. The deluxe had a natural mahogany body.

Was it a Jazz Plus Deluxe? They had smaller bodies and simply said "Jazz Bass" on the headstock(in 90's style writing). They were U.S. made, had fancy electronics...and high end hardware. 22 frets, too.

It's the Precision Bass Lyte. They existed throughout the 90s. I had two of them.
