Fender mudbucker in P (middle) position - anyone tried it?

Have any of you tried the Tele Bass humbucker near the P pickup position?

I was thinking being closer to the bridge would de-mud it.

Also, I have a newer one that's 25K. Is that right, I thought they were supposed to be about 30K.
