Seller might accept a slightly lower offer, say $70.00, making it a steal.

It could also be just fine too....it's just that anyone would normally ask $100-150 even for a used dinged Squire; especially someone who just "bought another" would want to get some $ back. But the guy could also be rich or some other explanation. |

Chris | He's off by a year. You would be surprised at how many folks make simple mistakes with basic math. IMO, that's not a big deal.
For $80, if the guitar is whole and complete - even if it doesn't play that well - it's worthwhile. |

Still worth it? | Yes, IMO. Especially if it's a MIJ.
EDIT: The back of the headstock will have the SN as well as the country of manufacture. The two should match up, unless it's a fake. But I have no idea why someone would want to fake an Affinity.

| | | | I had a Squier Affinity in that color years back. Not the best IMO, now days you could get a better built Squier with the money you'd put into modding the Affinity.
One of my pet peaves I absolutely can not stand is when the CL or eBay title says "Fender" when their trying to sell a Squier. It's misleading enough to feel like I've wasted my time clicking on it.
