Fender P-bass Bridge Cover + SX bass?

Sign in to disble this ad
I've been on a James Jamerson trip recently and I've decided I want to make a cheap copy of a 1962 reissue. I'd like to grab an SX Ursa 1 and buy the pickup and bridge covers for it. Does the sponge in the bridge cover line up in the correct spot on a stock SX bridge, or will I have to buy a fender bridge and redrill?

I would, but those are only on the Jazz models as far as I can see right now. I need the P version.

they used to have p basses try the parts section I bet you can buy an ashtray from them and it would be cheaper then the fender one. but the fender one should fit over the sx bridge. as long as its the standard style bridge I just noticed that sx has started offering different bridges.
