The bridge humbucker is kinda honky, and not really my thing. However, I can say I'm beyond happy with the Pawn Shop Bass VI. Gonna get Pickguardian to make a replica pickguard with a jaguar pickup routing in the bridge, and then I'll be set.

Word of warning: If you want a Fender Bass VI like the ones in the 60's and 70's, you'll be sadly disappointed. If you want a Fender Bass VI and aren't as picky about looks, this baby will rock your world.

There are a few people who have mentioned that factory setup is a joke, so if you can, try one at a store (they're rare, but try anyway). And if all else fails, youtube has lots of setup videos for jazzmaster vibratos.

Anyway, I ramble. If you can swing it, get one. I recommend the black one, so if you end up replacing the pickguard like me, there are more color options that will look good on black than sunburst and Candy Apple Red.

Good luck!

I played one the other day and it was freakin amazing!!!

I was able to play it finger style comfortably after a minute of adjustment.
I was able to get any tone from Precision to Ric and everything in between.
