Hey TB,
A friend of mine, found a bass in his basement of his new house..
and he was going to sell it on on CL.. Until a friend urged him to wait
till we figure out exactly what he has...
Here is the link to the add..
He is not selling now so please dont respond to the add.. http://sandiego.craigslist.org/esd/msg/1886771930.html
From the bad pics, to me at first glance it looks like an overseas knockoff or possibly 80's overseas Pbass..
It has no visible serial number..
the only thing it has is a sticker on the back SB310
I havent seen it in person yet, I will see it on Monday
Any help would be appreciated...
Thanks everyone...

Fender has a history of not really knowing how to label their lefty headstocks. My guess is that for the Jaguar, they only make the large waterslide-style decal which wouldn't fit on a lefty headstock, hence the lone "fender" decal.

If you want to get technical, which I obviously do

The craiglist bass is a knock off, nothing on that body is Fender. |
