Fender Performer Elite? Anybody have one?

I read this Wikipedia entry for the late '85-early '86 Fender Performer bass. It mentions a Performer Elite, which was made in the US (most were made in Japan) I can't find pics of this version (ebony board/3 pu's) other than the more rare 5-string prototype which can be referenced. Does anyone out there have one of these very rare basses? Or a pic of one?

The Performer Bass was available in 2 versions, Standard and Elite, with the latter lacking of a pickguard and sporting three specially designed single coil pickups (with the first two placed side-by-side in the rear position and the third in the center), 5-way switching and an ebony fretboard. Unlike the Japanese-made Performer Standard, which featured a 3-ply white pickguard, dual single coils, 3-way toggle switch and a rosewood fretboard, the more expensive Performer Elite was manufactured in the United States, retailing at $949. The moderately priced Standard retailed at $499.

I have never seen a Performer Elite 4 and only the one, probably same, pic of a red 5. Would love to add one to my collection someday, and always keep my eye open. I have 4 Performers, just missing the Burgundy Mist, also on my short list.

Damn I want one of these. I have been kicking myself for the last 3 yrs since I found one and balked at the 1200 dollar price tag. Still wish I had bought it.
