I keep seeing very cool Pre-CBS Fenders showing up here on TB, but couldn't find a thread devoted to them. I thought it would be great to see them all in one place. So,... Post your Pre-CBS Fenders!
I'll start out... '59 P-Bass (recently refurbished)

But P PU's, electronics, PG, neck, body, hardware are original (the important stuff), including the original bridge I have in the case, but I love the action of the BadassII. Great flame on the neck too.
Neck and body have been refinned sometime ago, but I got a KILLER deal on this bass last April, so I'm NOT complaining. Still can't believe it when I hold it in my hands...seller just didn't know what it was worth...

Just got this yesterday. 62' that had been stripped down to a natural finish. SERIOUS mojo coming out of my speakers last night on it's first showing. Hope to be even MORE impressed tonight when I have Sadowsky Flats on her, running through the big rig: Aguilar DB750 and two Accugroove Tri115L's!!!!! |

'64 P - been with me since 1977. Finish was stripped by one of the previous owners. Otherwise, all original except the tug bar and covers, which were missing when I bought it.
