Tinting on the headstock looks real enough and at the price it'll be a steal.

Lots of parts basses play as well or better than all-original Fenders of that era. There aren't too many serviceable basses available at that price point.

If you look close, you'll see the headstock is made from 2 pieces of wood (you'll see a horizontal line underneath the tuners), something Fender never did. The shape of the pickguard is off, you can see it's a decal (wrong curvature),...
