Fender Precision Custom Shop Pino Palladino in my hands!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys what's up, I'm a new happy owner of a Fender Precision Custom Shop Pino Palladino!
The bass sounds great even though I'm not playing it with flat strings for now because the previous owner played it with different strings.
I'm curious to play it with Thomastik-Infeld strings so I'm gonna buy them as soon as possible!

Here some pictures, I'm gonna post more pictures later on my music page: Marcello Lavorgna | Facebook:

A little to expensive for me so I "settled" for the CV 60's P in fiesta red (poor mans pino).

Couldn't be happier with that bass. I can't imagine it being any better but if it could, you got it!

enjoy!

(ps: your photos are not showing up)

I tried out the Pino Palladino Custom Shop P-Bass a couple of years ago. It was the best P-Bass I've ever played, regardless of the silly fiesta red finish. But the price on these is really prohibitive.

so design-wise, pretty much a dead-on vintage P, but with a quarter-sawn neck?

the round-lam board plus being quarter-sawn should make for a pretty rigid neck, i'd think.

I've played two custom Pino Basses.
They are as good as any P-Bass Fender has ever made.
They are that good.
Crazy price tag though.

I bought it used though, so the price was not that prohibitive!
