Fender Precision Deluxe bass opinions

So i have a 4 string Fender MIA deluxe on the way( natural finish/maple board), ive gone through alot of jazz basses and p basses over the years, and im a jazz guy through and through. My thought is that this bass will be the best of both worlds!

I cant seem to find alot of resources on here as far as who plays these or swears by them, it just seems logically to be the perfect do anything Fender bass to me, having not played it yet.

Any thoughts?

+I I have had mine for 3 or 4 months and its a montego black one (discont. color scheme) , anyway its is all its cracked up to be. Sounds great when recorded and is a lot of fun to play which is most important......................

ive found some youtube vids of it, in the ones with good sound quality it seems to be just punchy and growly and bassy and just nasty and...man i cant wait. I bet with some greasy-ass rotosounds on it the bass would eventually have a criminal record.
