Fender Precision Plus Color

Sign in to disble this ad
I've seen Fender Precision Plus Bases go for around $600 to $800 in here, according to this guy wine red is a rare color and "because of the color and rarity its going for 1300 right now." Does the color really affect the pricing that much? I've never thought of wine red to be a rare color...

custom colors add a few dollars when ordering a new bass and clearly effect vintage instruments... that's about it

well it's an '89 Precision Plus...I don't think that's considered vintage.

I hate red or bright color. Black or vintage sunburst is my choice, no red, green, yellow, etc..

Is it really "Wine Red" I wonder if he's thinking of Gibbie wine red......

Or better yet, ask if he can refinish it another color and drop the price !

All in good fun.......
