Fender Road Worn Basses

Is Fender selling basses made in Mexico for $1500 MSRP.

I see the number starts with a 13 and I thought that a number that starts with 13 is Mexican in origin and 11 is USA and 19 Japan.

They need to pack 'em better 'cause they sure seem to get roughed up while shipping.
