Fender Select?

Sign in to disble this ad
I saw a blurb about a new Fender Select series in the latest BassPlayer. They have flame maple tops and quartersawn necks with round compound radius fingerboards. The street price is $2,299. They showed a Jazz and Precision, and both are passive.
My guess is that they are aiming at the USA Lakland or Mike Lull market with these basses. I wonder if there will be fives?

Don't know much about that series, just some TB threads that popped a time ago and many people said that those basses look like the old photoflame stuff...

They are hot as can be. But, they will be out of my price range sadly.

That's exactly what I thought as well!
