Looks like the real deal. The pickup and pots dates would help. Decal and machine heads are correct for '77. |

More pics below | I had a '78 JUST like this one but I put a '69 P-bass pup in it and it really thumped. Very light body tho and was neck heavy. BTW, the front strap button was in the same location as yours. I have a pic of it but it's not scanned.
