Fender Victor Bailey VI

Sign in to disble this ad
I live in Turkey where it is hard to find a 6 string.
Does anyone have any experience with the new model Fender Steve Bailey signature 6 string? (with frets)
I would like to have a 6 string with a pickguard (as I am so used to that when i slap n pop, it makes a big difference for me)
Does G&L make them?
All the 6ers seem like modern shaped basses without pickguard or Fender style.
Bailey seems expensive and it isnt sold in where i live....
Importing seems like a big problem because most sites dont ship to Turkey.

I have a Steve Bailey fretted 6-string. I think it's one of Fender's best basses. It sounds great (single coils) and plays very well. The B string is better than most Fenders I've played as well.

If you like the feel and sound of a good Fender Jazz bass, I'd say go for it. I don't know about shipping to Turkey...

Is the fretboard too wide? Compared to Cort GB75 for example.
Dunno the exact size of Cort.
Is it 19 mm too wide?

Those string spaces scare me esp. on the high frets.
Is it 20 mm.? I guess i prefer 18 or so...
