Come on, you'd never be confused with fendre! | I see that you live overseas... Sadly here in the States you can walk into a music store and pick up a VM Squier and get better tone than a made in America Fender P. Not every single one will sound worse than a Squier, but many actually dont sound any better.

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the SPELLING of Squier, not the quality.

I did buy it at Marty's Music in Lebanon, PA - an independent music dealer. I guess they got preference from the factory!
It's a really nice sounding bass, too! Happy, happy |

| | | | Just pop some new pickups in there if you want. Oh and depending on the bridge you have.. you might want to replace that. Make sure you get one with grooves.. The J's have them the Jag doesn't (for some unknown reason). |

I don't think I actually miss them either. They are just fine the way they are.

| | | | This might be a stupid question..
But since the MV only has 20 frets, would it be possible to put a new neck on it with 24?
this might be a "noob" question, I'm afraid a longer neck might mess it all up, but not sure.. basically I'm not sure if getting more frets this way "is a thing" or not <_< |
