Hi Eric. Yes I do - and it is my personal favourite of all times ! Thanks for configuring such a wonderful bass (and for selling it to me ):

I know the first Monarch as I have played it a couple of times when it was here in the shop...

Monarch Deluxe
Indian Rosewood Top
Walnut Body
3-piece Maple Neck
Indian Rosewood FB

I cannot remember the pups off of the top of my head...

Regards,

J

If you're looking for a Gaboon Ebony top you could also have a look at the one that I have reserved for my upcoming Imperial - my final lock in is in 2 month or so and I will not go with an Ebony top (I've changed my mind 1-2 month after my order) - the top is even big enough to be used for a solid top (if I remember correctly) ... just ask Jason if you're interessted

Just to be clear, we do NOT have a lot of Ebony that is large enough to do tops with...getting quality Ebony in those widths is becoming very hard...

yeah - so I guess if he's looking for a top like that and has not reserved one yet - why not offering him this rare opportunity

It would be a pleasure for me

Christian McBride

Back in January there were some posts about Christian McBride's new Fodera:
http://www.fodera.com/Main/NewBornDe...uredItemID=315

I haven't seen any youtubes of him with his new Emperor Elite, but I did come across a youtube from a few years ago that shows what an awesome player he is. Just in case there are some folks here who aren't familiar with him, check this out:

Pat Metheny Christian McBride Antonio Sanchez - James [2004] Live in Lugano - YouTube

Let's post one of him with his new Fodera when available.

Cheers,

Jim

While that is very cool, this version knocks me out (he's on upright). Had one of my guitar players call this tune at a gig so I sight read the changes (had never heard it). Looked it up afterwards, found this version, and just shook my head thinking about what I had played

"James"- Pat Metheny, Michael Brecker, Christian McBride, Antonio Sanchez - YouTube

Jason reported elsewhere in this thread that it's down to about 15 or 16 months.

I find it very comfortable to wait that long - I'm in month 7 now - and the best thing is that "hey, I have a Fodera on order" feeling

My bass go no Plek'd.
Thanks Tim, I'm going try and get a ramp like yours. I bet the set-up & action on your bass is 1st class even without Plek.

Enjoy...
