Looking forward to listening to the three monarchs when I have a chance. I need to take those clips over to my friends house and listen through his studio speakers.
Here's my baby. |

1. dovetail
2. neckthrough
3. bolt on
However, I would like to have that trio in my collection.

Here you go...let the games begin!! http://soundcloud.com/fodera-guitars
An important note...these were originally recorded at 96k to retain as much of the sonic information as possible from the instruments. They were then down-sampled to 44.1k (CD "quality") to make the files more reasonably sized so that they could be easily downloaded and burned to a CD. They are meant to be listened to on the best audio equipment you have available to you...
A HUGE thanks to Matt Garrison for recording these for us. As you already know, he's as amazing a person as he is a player!!

Here's my baby. | Very nice, do you have some sound samples of that beautiful 6 string emeror II? That walnut top is gorgeous! |

| | | In...for the first time in a new thread (makes me all tingly!)
Photo from earlier in the week at a gathering of some of my musical mentors. Sounded great. Also sat in on a very hot local R&B/funk jam last night, and "Juliette" killed. A few of the bass players in attendance ogled her gorgeous body, and liked the sound even better. A little Curtis Mayfield, a little Miles, some blues, a few ballads, a tiny bit of slap. I really am loving this bass.
...and getting ready to throw the AKG's on and listen to the construction sound-off. Those Monarch 5's are equisite. I am ... very ... glad ... I am not in San Diego. Though, Munji might drop the hammer on me if I tried to buy just one!

If I'm really brave I'll take it to tomorrow nights steely jam gig but more likely it'll get baptized at sun and mon jazz hits. No sense on woodshedding before gigging even though I've never played an E-C strung bass
