Jason,

Could you tell me what the specs are for Jon Reshard's Fodera?

Hi Jason,

Has the Fodera Team considered asking your artists to record some audio and video of them playing their signature instruments? It would be great to be able to watch Mike Pope talk us through how he uses the Viceroy etc...

We went back to traditional "70's" PUP spacing, but we are using 60's wound PUP's. Play it in good health!!!

Thank you Fodera team for making such a nice and affordable (well, depend how you view it)bass. However, I keep failing in posting the picture.....

I've seen all of those NAMM clips Munji... (Along with many others). I was suggesting something with better recording quality... Maybe recorded at Fodera HQ under similar conditions for each video / bass / artist and presented with the production quality fitting for Fodera.

Something that would serve the purpose of letting us hear all of the basses under 'studio quality' conditions but also offer some insight into the inspiration that created the instrument and how those players utilise the specs / features / tones of their instruments...

I think it's a Victor Wooten signature with kahler tremolo and some custom paint-job. I've seen him play this bass before the paint job. He also has a replica of this bass made by some other company... I just cant remember the name.... :/

We definitely have toyed with the idea a couple of times. For better, or worse, it is a project that always seems to get pushed to the back burner because we are swamped doing things related to building the instruments. We WILL do it some day!!

Interesting, I assumed the facing was wood.

Replica?

He has a similar looking bass made by Roberts Custom Guitars. You can see it in these clips.

Custom build help needed!

Folks, I am close to pulling the trigger on a Monarch 5 custom build.

I am trying to build a bass that will sound different than an Emperor 5 Standard (dual coils, ash body, bolt on, Paul ferro FB) and I am considering the below config. Note, I really need to stay away from costly options as the base price is close to my budget.

First of all, will this bass give me more clarity/articulation than the E5S? What are your thoughts on this config? Thanks!

Monarch 5 build:
Single coils
Walnut body
Flamed maple top
Ebony board
Dovetail neck

don't forget that you also could have Curly Walnut tops as a free option too
