(whoa...and Oz Noy on 2/26 with John Patitucci and Jeff Tain Watts! 55 is THE place.)
Inching closer to my Emporer 5 Standard...

Cool guy and a good player with a very nice bass collection. I think that in the end he decided he preferred the Ken Smith tone which would explain why he sold/is selling this bass. Can't remember the guy's username here though - it's been about 5 years since I last remember him posting. I do remember him telling me that that bass does have a fancy top under that black paint, so if you like the bass but not the finish, you could always strip it and go with the natural wood look.
By the way, what is the story with the 'Edwards model' Fodera? Who was Mr. Edwards, who did he play with? Why was the model discontinued? I really like the body shape of the Edwards models. |

Then magically it ended up on eBay years later by someone who cannot spell or spellcheck to save their life, which is a warning sign for me. Same with the horrible pictures- freaks me out.
It's quite old- late 90's, IIRC. Jason will know. Something about the horrible presentation on eBay and the whole situation makes me think scam, even if it isn't. Cool bass with unusual body, though. |

I don't want to pry it out with a screwdriver and risk damaging the wood. Any hints?

I will add a night at 55 Bar to my visit to Fodera, Rangers and Devils hockey games.... Gonna be a busy March Break!
Any other NYC live music ideas?

Also, a 33" scale B is a highly personal taste. Some people are fine with them and others feel that they are too "floppy."
