Fodera NYC Vs Sadowsky MV5

If you have the chance to pick just one of them, which one did you choose and why ?

Sadowsky every time. While Fodera customs are arguably the apex of the art of bass building, the Fodera NYC models I've tried aren't their best work. IMO, YMMV before my TB crucifixion begins...

Let the fun begin.

Seriously, this is a very good question. Be very interesting to hear from folks that have actually owned/played both. Are newer Fodera NYC basses better than the older ones? Empire branded vs. non, etc.

I have personally owned 2 Sadowsky Metros and they were great instruments. My Emperor 5 Standard is just incredible, but it isn't a NYC/Empire and I haven't played one.

Wowww...you have two metros and an Emperor
And yes...the NYC what im talking about it's not the Empire, it's the old version... I believe it had Aero Pickups..and the Metro had the sadowsky Humcanceling pickups...
