Forum Post Answer All

Let me preface this with this. I love this forum and TB in general, it has helped me date an old fender bass, find a source of quality instruments for sale and connect with thousands of people that share the love and passion for holding the dirty clef down. I feel a respect and love that means a lot to me.

But I can answer a lot of the posts with these simple q and a's..

Q. Thinking of buying a bass, is this bass worth this $$$? (I am guilty of this)

A. If you like it that much.

Q. What is the best bass to sound like John Paul Jones?

A. His bass, hands, amp and whatever was used to mix, record and master it. Develop your ears before spending any money and you can copy anybody you want.

Q. What is the best bass for metal?

A. Mine.

OK, I feel much better, love y'all

Q: Pick or Fingers?
A: Yes

Most of the questions on here could be answered by replacing 'or' with 'and'.

Isnt that how forums work ? Some asks a question and others answer ? Maybe we should all just stop asking question and let the forum die ?

Putting a complete stop to repeat questions would turn this place into an archive instead of a forum.
