If your bass is a ebay/parts bass, has any electronic changes or enhancements, major visual differences from stock... Post it here! Give us full details and all that jazz.
If you'd like to be assigned a member number to sport in your sig PM me and I'll give it to ya. Now... Show me those Frankenbasses!
Here's mine:
Franken-Pbass specs:
-Wendy Davis Precision bass body in Lake Placid Blue
-Seymour Duncan Vintage P pickup
-Tortoise Picguard
-Hipshot Bridge
-Schaller Tuners
-Neck is from a ESP early 90's/late 80's Jazz bass w/ Tele bass headstock
-Jazz-ish profile, 1.5 inch nut
-Headstock painted to match body and fitted with Fender decals
The black Ibanez GSR 190 (The Wife):
-Badass II bridge.
-Dirmazio Ultra Jazz Pickups, wired Volume-Blend-Tone

Not horribly frankensteined but the pickup changed the sound pretty radically (for the better, IMO). I miss this bass a lot and I hope to build a fretless version someday. |

it's not finished yet, but it'll be a body built by me and fitted with the neck, hardware, and guts of an Ibanez GSR200.

Body origin and composition unknown, I _believe_ it's rosewood, it's heavy enough to be rosewood anyway.... the rest is Mighty Mite P neck, Bart NTBT pre-amp, 92 series pickups, various generic E-bay parts (neck plate, tuners, knobs, pickguard) big ugly bridge from Custom Shop Parts... http://www.talkbass.com/forum/attach...2&d=1114873996 http://www.talkbass.com/forum/attach...3&d=1114873996 http://www.talkbass.com/forum/attach...1&d=1114871981 http://www.talkbass.com/forum/attach...0&d=1114871981
