Sadly, ti's not reflective, like some of his other basses.

Like the $2500 Teisco "Turbo Reflecto."

If this El Daga guy is from Mexico why is his Spanish so bad?.. "Un lugar de mi propio"..? really?.. the dangers of Google Translate, I guess...

Did anyone else imagine the description narrated by someone with a Mexican accent? If not, try reading it that way and it is REALLY hillarious!

Too bad about that bass. I bet it was decent before he ruined it.

I just noticed "Fringed" bass; the volume and tone knobs are dashboard defroster knobs from a 1967 Ford Fairlane and the cabinet handle is Kitchenaid circa 1972.
$2,499 is a lot to pay for a wall hanger bass....totally unplayable for gigs

....At least this automotive bass is playable

I see his Casady is still listed. I actually weirdly dig that one, but not at that price!

Strange thing is, I swear I have a memory of seeing someone, at some time, playing a fringed guitar just like that...But I can't remember exactly.
Maybe I saw it in a nightmare.

I love his last paragraph:
"I do not like complaints. My art is flawed, it is dynamic, and it is intentional. I avoid crowds and I speak in a low voice. Conflict is to be avoided for me to remain happy-therefore please do not buy my art if you have an angry heart. It will lead to unhappiness for both of us and those many around us. Music is art. Art is performance. I am performance art."

Let me re-word this for him:
"no returns."

he does have a 100% feedback.
