As you wish, but I wouldn't wnat it that way.
I'd take the opportunity to re-wire for coil taps for each pickup; and add single coil while you're at it.
ymmv of course.

ymmv of course. | I would still like to be able to solo the pickups at the flick of a switch, usually when I am taking a solo! I like to just use the bridge pickup. I guess it would similar to how a Les Paul is wired.
I don't know if I would like the sound of single coils on that bass. |

It came to me in great shape except for normal wear on the pick-guard, light tarnish on the tuners, frets and saddles and a couple of nearly invisible dings in the finish. I loved it from the moment I first took it out and plugged in but me being me, I decided on a few mods in black: Dunlop straploks, Hipshot tuners, Tusq nut, string tree from StewMac, pickguard by Chandler and the finishing touch, DA Nylon Tapewounds. She is now everything I could ask for in a bass and more, looks great and sounds amazing!

Maybe I'm wrong, but don't hold your breath for an assignment. |

Maybe I'm wrong, but don't hold your breath for an assignment. | I got a PM from joevcool the other day giving me number 493. I haven't taken an opportunity to add it to my signature yet.

Nuttin' at all wrong with that - I just couldn't recall the last time anyone was passing out numbers in the thread.
Personally, I'm not a club guy. I'm sure there are clubs for most of the gear I own, but I couldn't care less if I have a number. No, actually I prefer to not have a number... |

| | Supporting Member | | | | | Hey, I'm a g&l owner, and i was wondering how you thought their service was? I recently ordered a new bridge, because I had a fretless one for my 4string fretted bass, and wanted to get a metal sattle one. I ordered it on the 10th, they forgot to ship it, and I just received it today. It was a 5 string bass bridge.(I own/ordered a 4 string bridge) I was wondering if other people have had problems in terms of communication on their part. |

Maybe I'm wrong, but don't hold your breath for an assignment. | You are very wrong. Since I took over the club,I have given numbers whenever requested. So no one has to hold their breath for one.I monitor the club all the time,so nobody is left out.

I very much doubt the finish is original. Those wacky tuners aren't original either, wonder what make those are? There's also an extra switch by the output jack, wonder what that does and what's been done to the wiring. Nice ebony board and original knobs with all the chrome on them looks like. Interesting bass.

Certainly the tuners are wrong. Maybe...I'd like to see the back of the headstock, maybe those are just freak top-hats of some sort.
Pickup is wrong, for the neck.
Extra switch: who knows. Given placement, I'd hope it's a kill switch, and nothing else.
