G&L L-2500 or M-2500?

Differences please? I am kind of a set it and forget it guy once I dial in a tone. I have heard the L can be more aggressive which I like.

It is

bein' both active/passive (and serial/parallel) while M2500 is fully three band active equalizer, L2500 is hard to tame... I deeply love my carved top one.
