I'm thinking about get a g&l l-2500 and the last thing I wanna know about it is if it has a nice B string . So, someone ?  |

I discovered them relatively recently: B string very present and effective, and I play a full step downtuned, so you guess.

Wallace | Yes, way better. I've got three L2500s: two USA and a Tribby. All have great B strings. Note I demand that all my basses have B strings that give a fretted E pretty much indistinguishable from the open E on the next string. They all do this quite nicely.
The G&L Bs are much better than my Fender Deluxe V B but are worse than the "to die for" B on my Modulus, but it's a carbon neck and 35" scale. |
